Anyone who has played golf knows, there’s something about it that keeps you coming back, to that personal journey it takes you on. 

When I was young, I’d spend weekends in my Dad's pro shop. It was the beginning of a family obsession. I can still smell the glue, oil, wool jumpers and grass cuttings. The famous black and white photograph of Hogan hitting his 1 iron hung in a frame over the counter. Subtly whispering to the future: images we’d soon create ourselves.

The 1457 Club, named after King James II ban on golf, was founded out of this obsession and the raw passion and life force our game instills in us. A passion which spans centuries and ages. Similarly, golf has always been in our family, from those beginnings in that humble pro shop, golf has taken us on a journey to some of it’s oldest, most hallowed courses; forged by golf’s pioneers. Our valued family of clients share that same passion and inspiration for the game’s beauty, complexity and heritage that we do. That is why they entrust us to tell the story of their golfing journey.
