Want to meet the world's best sportspeople?

Keen to expand your filmmaking techniques?

Eager to get in with an expanding production team?

The 1457 Club is a small collective of storytellers who specialise in creating content predominantly for the golf industry. You’ll ideally be a strong storyteller yourself, who excels and enjoys assembling recorded footage to create a cohesive story. This will include web and social content, documentaries and commercial advertisements.

We are looking for a talented video editor who can join our rapidly expanding business on a freelance basis to assist with our growing workload. This would be a great opportunity for someone to join our small, driven team at its conception and would pose a great opportunity for the right candidate to become part of the core production team.

What you’ll do.

• Edit a varying array of footage, event coverage, promo and campaign videos, YouTube videos, short social media videos, documentaries, interviews and short films.

• Be comfortable working through the entire edit pipeline, from ingesting and transcoding footage, making final edits, colour grading, basic sound design, exporting and compression.

• Work with a diverse array of talent, including photographers, filmmakers, presenters, sports personalities and broadcasters.

• Display a creative flare and a passion for small details, but also be capable of adhering to brand guidelines.

• Maintain close dialogue with the team from pre production through production and post to ensure success.

• Efficiently work on-site from varying shoot locations (occasionally abroad) to turn around edits in time sensitive scenarios as action develops.

The ideal candidate should have / be.

• Proven experience as a video editor OR be fresh out of university having studied video editing.

• Proficient in Premiere Pro. After effects, photoshop, illustrator and Logic are desirable but not essential.

• Be energetic, adaptable and creative, have an optimistic outlook, work well with a small team and thrive under pressure with deadlines. You’ll be consistent and maintain strong integrity and reliability with high organisational skills and timekeeping.

• Interest in sport, particularly golf is desirable but not essential.
