THE SHOT

At the beginning of 2023 Hole19, Mobility Pro & HWPO in association with Callaway and Adidas commissioned The 1457 Club to produce a 3 part Documentary. This undertaking gave one golfer the chance to claim a £100k investment for their debut year as a professional.

The documentary-style competition, 'The Shot', followed one golfer, Joe Viner, through a six-month tailored training programme of their body and mind, under the guidance of three-time PGA Tour winner Scott Stallings.

The Shot also documented three other golfers who used this same programme to hone their game, then compete in a showdown at the birthplace of the Open, Prestwick.

The 1457 Club completed all aspects of casting, pre-production, production and post-production for The Shot. Scheduling, treatments, casting reviews, teaser assets, photography assets and a how-to guide on how hopeful candidates could submit their casting tapes was also provided to the client.

The documentary was delivered on a tight schedule, with a minimal production team. All assets were provided to the client for their own marketing, third party approvals and release.
